How Long Are sessions?
Sessions are 60 minutes long.
How to make payment?
After our initial booking call (which is free) if you choose to go ahead with sessions, I will send a contract outlining the parameters of our professional relationship. I will include my business account details here and require payment 24-hours prior to each session.
What video platform do you use?
I use Google Meet and will send you an email link prior to the session.
What if we have technical issues?
I will have your phone number as an alternative way to contact you and we will agree at the start of our sessions whether you are happy to have a phone session if anything goes wrong with the video platform, e.g. internet down, failed webcam etc. or if you would like we can email and rearrange the session.
What if I can’t make it to a session?
Emergencies and unforeseen circumstances happen – wherever possible I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you cannot make it to our session. There is a 50% fee for late cancellations and missed sessions, this is due to me being unable to fill those missed sessions at short notice.
How many sessions should I have?
That really depends on the individual – some people come in with a specific issue and feel ready to end sessions after 6–12 sessions, for other people they may be looking for more consistent long-term support, i.e. 12+ sessions. In my experience it takes at least 2–4 sessions to establish trust and begin to see change. We will regularly review where you are up to and how you’re feeling about the sessions, including when you might feel ready for sessions to come to an end.
How often should sessions be?
Weekly or fortnightly sessions are best for therapeutic consistency.
Do you do any discounts?
Discount on block of six sessions and 10% discount for NHS and students.
